The Internet can be a dangerous place, especially where
one’s personal information is concerned. Having this
foreknowledge, I have been particularly diligent in
protecting the privacy of those who have entrusted it to
me. Information sent from or to this site is encrypted with
128-Bit Encryption technology.
What is 128-Bit Encryption, and how does it work?
Encryption is a sophisticated scrambling method that is
designed to prevent unauthorized eaves-dropping on
electronic data. Encryption works by taking a piece of
information and processing it with a mathematical
formula (called an "algorithm") that converts the
information into a meaningless string of letters and
numbers. For example, the sentence "This is a secret,"
when encrypted may look like "a03xx1a79x!." This
encrypted string of information can be sent over the
Internet with the likelihood that anyone intercepting the
message will not be able to interpret what it means.
When the string does reach its intended destination, a
similar mathematical formula is applied to the string to
decrypt it.
In addition to encryption, pages are password protected
that I deem might disclose more information than should
be privy to the Internet community at large.
Please feel free to voice any fears or concerns you might
have about the safety of yours, mine, and our personal
information.
